It just occurred to me that the expression "when life gives you lemons make lemonade" supposes that lemons are bad. Like you're making the best of a bad situation. Who doesn't like lemons?

Also I like how it goes like... "Life gave you something sour instead of something sweet? Well, water it down and cover it up with something else sweet that presumably life also gave you."
